Takeshi Suzuka taught in the Business Studies Club at Tokushima Commercial High School, where he developed an integrated, hands-on approach to product development and package design in collaboration with local businesses and now teaches at Faculty of Management and Information Science, Shikoku University. He has also been developing initiatives to support the self-reliance of the Cambodia-Japan Friendship School with the school’s students since 2013. These activities were the driving force behind the school’s winning of the Prime Minister’s Award, the first high school to receive the first place in the Consumer Merit Award in 2008. In September, the school also led a student presentation at the G20 International Meeting on Consumer Policy, which was highly praised by officials from around the world.
