What’sFuture Earth School?
Let's transform the world into a playgroundfor learning and creativity! A global STEAM symphony that ignites the diverse creativity within each individual.
In the 21st century, the concepts driving the 'Future Earth School' are that 'everything on Earth serves as both a playground and a place for learning,' and that 'children from the age of 0 to 120 continue to engage in play and learning.' This visionary initiative represents a collaborative symphony that connects diverse dots across the globe. Rooted in 'STEAM' learning, it aims to illuminate the brilliance within each individual within a unified community.
※We will support a wide range of exploration projects by individuals aged 0 to 120 worldwide, sharing and occasionally collaborating with other 'schools' that are part of the 'Earth School for the Future' online community. (We are looking forward to your participation!)
What’sSTEAM?
STEAM is a globally promoted,
innovative approach to learning
that is interdisciplinary,
hands-on, and fosters creativity.
SCIENCE
The power to objectively understand the principles and laws of nature, chemistry, physics, and other phenomena.
TECHNOLOGY
The power to apply scientific knowledge for practical purposes.
ENGINEERING
The capability to design, research, and innovate to develop products and new technologies with the goal of creating something new.
ARTS/LIBERAL ARTS
The power to express oneself creatively and enjoy life and cultural perspectives.
MATHEMATICS
The power to extract and model the various essences of the world.

Digital Art such as p5.js x Mathematics x Life
By integrating mathematical concepts into 'p5.js,' a beginner-friendly JavaScript-based programming language, you too can unlock your potential as an artist and designer! You have the freedom to craft enjoyable, inspiring, impactful, and culturally resonant pieces of art.
Physical Computing such as Sensors & Microcontrollers (with body, light, wind...)
Let's program a microcontroller with a sensor that detects environmental data such as wind, sound, and light. By combining familiar issues, new approaches to exploration begins.
AI & Programming
Let's learn how AI (Artificial Intelligence) works and trains AI by oneself. How can we make use of the AI we have developed?
Architecture
In what kind of space, what kind of place to create? Let's create a new architecture with various materials and free ideas.
Robotics
Take advantage of LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime and programming for practical solutions.
Digital × Fashions
Using digital tools to create original fashions, think about sustainability, and explore the potential for fashions.
Mathematical Modeling / Data Handling
With the increasing importance of data today, let's creatively enjoy the series of processes of making hypotheses, collecting data, visualizing, and verifying the data (sometimes modeling them mathematically)...! And let's look for mathematics in our daily lives.
Somaticity
Pay attention to the body, including physical expressions of butoh and dance, and games that incorporate sports.
Art × Music × Mathematics
Open your senses and find mathematical beauty in art and music. Feel your own simple and joyful rhythm.
Regional Revitalization and Environment
Learn the concept of SDGs and develop imagination through workshops, videos, and worksheets on local issues and interesting initiatives.
Cultures and Performing Arts in Japan and the World
Embark on a profound exploration of Japanese culture by experiencing Chado (tea ceremony) and tearooms. Sometimes, even engage in 'creating a tearoom' in collaboration with Urasenke. This journey will take you through the 21st-century culture, where you'll be introduced to diverse traditional aspects of Japan and the world, including crafts, performing arts, festivals, ethnic instruments, music, and dance.
Symbiotic Society where No One is Left Behind
We are all diverse and different in our personalities and characteristics. So life is interesting! The characteristics we now call "disabilities" can be a weakness in an immature society, yet they are also treasures. Seek a future co-creation and symbiotic society in which all kinds of life flourishes, by recognizing the diversity, for example, by looking into the world we can see in the absence of sight, and the world we can hear in the absence of sound.
Mentors
Leaders who elicit the joy of thinking and creating by softly connecting the world
Mentors are the explorers who engage with you in every direction and find the spark of light within each of you. They are accompanists who play a concerto with you.Their support is essential to "STEAM", which fosters the joy and confidence of worldwide creation.
